I have recently come to your podcast. My husband and I listen to you. We enjoyed hearing the story about the dead deer and how important it is that we go to the source. Thanks for putting the great message of our Savior out there.
I have loved your thoughts this year. It’s so interesting that you bring up continuing to read the Book of Mormon every day this year. As I was finishing this episode, that was my exact thought, which I believe was the Spirit. We NEED the Book of Mormon each day. I have learned so much from your podcast, so thank you so much for listening to the spirit and taking the time to do this podcast.
Hiddy Ho great lady! I Have been listening for the last year. Love your insights and stories and that you are your real self!!! Love it!! Thank you for the talk stand for ever…. I Have many friends who are struggling with their beliefs. I hope to share that talk with them as I am prompted. Thank you for reminding me to ask Christ to take my struggles when I can’t bear them any longer (love it!). Both you and my missonary daughter have pricked my heart to the power of the Book of Mormon and daily partaking of its contents. It changes you. It continues to change me and helps me in noticeable ways. Thank you again!!
If I could ask a favor…..could you direct me to the quotes about the power of the Book of Mormon that you read. I would love to print them out or read daily to help me REMEMBER!
Love to you and your family. Angie in Idaho
Sure! Here are a few of my favorites:
My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions—every day. I promise that as you ponder what you study, the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your own questions and direction for your own life. I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day, even the gripping plague of pornography and other mind-numbing addictions. -President Nelson
President Benson said, “There is a power in the Book of Mormon which will begin to flow into your lives the minute that you begin a serious study of the book. You will find the power to avoid deception. You find the power to stay on the straight and narrow path.”
