HERE is the link to the lesson in the manual. (Which will look like a totally different lesson because, uh, it is.)

Matthew 13; Luke 8; 13
“Who Hath Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear”

This episode is about some of the parables used by the Savior. I discuss the parable of the sower, the parable of the mustard seed, the parable of the nets and introduce another of my own little parables called the parable of the pinky.

References:

President Brigham Young (1801–77) said: “The worst fear that I have about [members of this Church] is that they will get rich in this country, forget God and his people, wax fat, and kick themselves out of the Church and go to hell. This people will stand mobbing, robbing, poverty, and all manner of persecution, and be true. But my greater fear for them is that they cannot stand wealth; and yet they have to be tried with riches”

Yes, dear Melanie, I love this lesson, because I didn’t hear (or don’t remember) this one!
I am waiting for the audible lesson:-)

  2. Here’s a parable I thought of this week, about checklists and the growth process. Plants need food, water, and light to grow. The checklist is important, but the actual growing process is the end goal. Like for us, we should pray, read scriptures, go to church, etc. and those things are important, the actual growing process is the end goal.

Also, I have a book and a signed card you sent me when you sent me a sticker and I’m using it as my bookmark (and calling it a signed copy of your book)! Hahaha

  3. Lindsay! What a great idea! I didn’t think of that but I can do that, too!!

Melanie! I love you and the intense efforts you have made to bring LIGHT and TRUTH through prayer, the scriptures, Come Follow Me and Come Follow Me For Us!! Thank You and so much love to you, Friend!
I’ve been listening to you since the beginning… thanks to my friend Summer Harbor!
I can’t thank her enough for bringing your podcast to my attention! ❤️
