Book of Mormon Moment

I think I’m just going to write them here because it won’t get in the way of anything else because people rarely come to this page anyway. But those who want to come for this can. Yea. There may be a way to subscribe? I’ll look into it.

Anyway, last night I was reading in 2 Nephi 18. Isiah is often very confusing and deep for people and is for me too. So if all the scholars want to get in and tell me I’m wrong that’s fine. But to me, these verses were a good warning. 13 is talking about the Lord of Hosts and then in 14 and 15  it says, “And he shall be for a sanctuary, but for a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense… And many among them shall stumble and fall, and be broken and snared and be taken. And 16 says, “Bind up the testimony..”

It’s so interesting to me that Christ can be a sanctuary for so many (definition – a place of refuge or safety) and yet be such a rock of offense to so many others. But “bind up the testimony” is a warning. What role do you want Christ to play in your life? I need the sanctuary! And I believe with ALL MY HEART the Book of Mormon will bind us to Jesus Christ and He will always be a refuge to those who stay near to the Book of Mormon.

This is a talk that is AMAZING! I posted it on facebook, but I’m posting it again. It talks about how to keep your testimony – especially when hit by information that maybe you didn’t know about church history etc. It’s so good. And so true. The things I’ve read and been forced to read didn’t shake my faith because of the relationship I have with the Savior, my Heavenly Father and the experiences I have had with the Book of Mormon answering my prayers so specifically. Lock yourself to the primary questions and the secondary ones won’t trip you up. It’s so perfect.

Have a great day!

  1. I can’t believe how much this talk has affected me- you know how sometimes in the temple you feel like your spirit you has recognized something that your physical you can’t quite comprehend? That is how I feel every time I hear this talk- ‘I have questions, but I don’t have any doubts..’ ‘just look around, and believe…’❤️

It’s my favorite, and I love the ads!😂😂😂
